This is MCA approved 36* week programme covering the underpinning knowledge and short courses required to qualify for a Chief Mate (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency.

Delegates will study towards an SQA Advanced Diploma which will cover the academic underpinning knowledge required for certification.

This course is available in Online Mode from SSMS, UK in blended learning program, 3 months in India through online sessions and 6 months at SSMS, UK face to face.

    • 12 months sea time on FG vessels more than 80GRT and 24m LOA whilst holding an OOW (unlimited) Certificate of Competency
    • Discharge book entries verifying sea service.
    • Watch-keeping certificates to support all watch-keeping sea service
