Our Management Level course is designed to equip experienced engineers with a strong academic foundation and practical leadership skills to advance in their careers.

SME provides a blended learning program for 4th Engineers, 2nd Assistant Engineers, or 3rd Engineers who have completed 12 months of sea service.

    After academic modules, candidates appear for the EK General and Motor Examination at SSMS, UK — a vital step towards securing Management Level certification.

    SME assists students with complete support for visa documentation, interview preparation, fund management and accommodation in the UK.

    You must have: EITHER BE AN EOOW (III/1) or equivalent Certificate of Competency OR Second Engineer (III/2)

    Equivalent Certificate of Competency and the necessary sea service to apply for a Notice of Eligibility for either Second or Chief Engineer.

    UK COC holder OF EOOW- 6 DLP (12 months sailing required as EOOW)

    Electro-Technical Officer New Zealand COC/ Singapore COC- 6 DLP (24 months sea time required)

    B Tech and BE Mechanical Engineering- 3 DLP (24 months sailing required)
